And now for something completely different...

Perhaps just as meaningful and true today as when it was written. Pacifism drives me nuts. I wish there were more of us. Things need to change, and waiting and participating is complicity. I guess we all have different levels to which we go to rationalize our unwillingness to lift a hand, after all, we are so comfortable. Its a shame. I am guilty too. May God have mercy on us, and our weakness. I can only hope.

One Movie I Will See!

If we can get over the tabloid piece of their relationship, I think the movie will be great! I enjoy both Angelina Jolie AND Brad Pitt. I thought they were great in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and I love their other stuff (mostly). Anyway, I was tickled to hear they are Ayn Rand fans, and I expect they will make a great picture together.

For those of you who are not familiar with Ayn Rand, or Atlas Shrugged, I advise you read it and her other books. If you can get past her anti-religious rhetoric, she writes some great stuff.

I don't have a ton of time to review her stuff right now, but it is really worth reading, as its not just a good story, but makes some excellent points about society, the different types of people you find in society, and all of that good stuff.
